Automatic sand mixer. Manual moulding in a metal box of up to 1,500 x 1,500 mm.
melting
INDUCTOTHERM INDUCTION FURNACE
Melting process using a 2 Tn Induction Furnace.
The alloy is controlled and inspected using a spectrometer and software.
Inspection, control and testing
Testing:
-
NDT (non-destructive testing): magnetic particles, ultrasound, radiography, penetrant liquids, hardness tests.
- DT (destructive testing): tensile and compression tests, resilience (charpy) tests.
